This course will look at contemporary Korean cinema and its’ relationship with world cinema. By looking at specific directors and films, this course is designed to create a dialogue between Korean Filmmakers with their international counterparts in hopes of broadening the scope of Korean film scholarship and examining ideas found throughout the cinematic world within the Korean context.
